A number of information resources on soil management on the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs website.
Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI)
OMRI is an organization created to benefit the organic community and the general public. Its primary mission is to publish and disseminate generic and specific (brand name) lists of materials allowed and prohibited for use in the production, processing, and handling of organic food and fiber.
Organic Farming Research Foundation
The Organic Farming Research Foundation mission is to sponsor research related to organic farming practices, to disseminate research results to organic farmers and to growers interested in adopting organic production systems, and to educate the public and decision-makers about organic farming issues.
Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (OACC)
The Organic Agriculture Centre of Canada (OACC) is dedicated to enhancing the environmental and social integrity of agriculture. Pro-Cert Canada Inc. has been providing professional organic certification services across Canada since 1990.
The Independent Organic Inspectors Association (IOIA)
A non-profit association of trained farm and processing inspectors dedicated to the verification of organic production processes. (406) 436-2031
Quality Assurance Int. (QAI)
QAI offers organic certification under the National Organic Program for Producers, Processors, Private Labelers, Distributors, Retailers, Restaurants, Wild Crop Harvesters, Greenhouse, Mushrooms, Hydroponics, and Facilities.
