The second annual Nigwek - Festival for an Organic PEI has been elevated to be a premier event at the PEI's Fall Flavours Festival.

The PEI COPC is delighted that the Festival for an Organic PEI titled Nigwek (the Mi'kmaq word Nigwek means "something is growing") is happening again this year, as a premier event at the Fall Flavours Festival.

Time: Sunday, September 5th, 12 noon - 10pm
Place: Victoria Row, Charlottetown

Nigwek is an occasion to celebrate the organic agriculture in PEI, and to revel in the potential that exists within the realization of a fully organic Island. The day-long street festival boasts 15 of the best musical acts that PEI has to offer, a smorgasbord of organic food, cooking demos, lots of fun activities for families, and a star-studded cast of engaging speakers led by Chef Michael Smith. Visit the official Nigwek website  for more information, and see you there!
