Stephen Cousins - President Stephen, along with his wife Cindy and their five children owns and operates The Shepherds Farm (110 acres) in Pisquid. The farm has been certified for four years. Each of the children have been very involved and presently three of them have their own certified organic business within the farm. "We believe youth have to have ownership in decision, market and responsibility if it can be sustainable.", says Stephen. The farm specializes in organic small fruits and mixed vegetables. |

Gary Hughes - Vice President Gary, Kelly and family are realizing a dream many believed was unattainable, running a farm which produces certified organic strawberries and mixed vegetables. Hughes Hill Farms stall at the Charlottetown Farmers Market offers specialties such as strawberries, free-range eggs, homemade pickles and jams, poultry and ground beef. Their farm motto is Flavour First ... Nutrition. |

Amanda Walsh - Secretary Amanda works as the General Manager of Red Soil Organics in Brookfield, PEI, where she has been experimenting with several horticultural crops on a 37 acre parcel. Red Soil Organics first became a certified organic farm in 2009, and has a had great year catering to local and mainland wholesale markets in 2010. Amanda also serves as a Director of ACORN. |

Fred Dollar - Director A founding member of PEI Certified Organic Producers Cooperative and past president of ACORN, Fred Dollar owns and operates Kentdale Organic Produce Inc with his wife Vaunda and son Kent in South Winsloe. Fred started dairy farming in 1970 and switched to organic production in 1999, becoming certified organic in 2001. Kentdale Organic Produce Inc has approximately 300 acres and operates as a grower, packer and shipper of organic potatoes under the Kentdale logo. |

Brian MacKay - Director Brian started the transition of his operation to certified organic in 2002, and presently he and Kathy Ware have 150 acres in certified organic production. Their Veggie Box Program serves about 50 families per year and is steadly on the increase. The farm sells certified organic produce at the Summerside Farmers Market. In the fall Red Isle Farms also have approximately 30,000 lbs of mushrooms weekly for sale. Brain also does custom baling and sells straw to the mainland. |

Stewart MacRae – Director Stewart and his wife Rita farm in Ebenezer and surrounding areas with approximately 350 certified organic acres under cultivation. Crops grown include soybean, small grains and hay to feed about 40 beef cows. |
